Being Paralyzed But Doing Something That I Can First

“To me it’s okay if I lost my legs. Even if I lost the ability to walk, I’m just thankful that I’m still alive. I have my hands, I have my eyes, my mind and I have my life. I have many plans for myself.

Now I will work hard to regain my strength first, then I’m going to join some societies to help the other earthquake victims and families. I will do other things too, like maybe a wheelchair race or anything. It’s okay if I can’t do everything as before, but at least do something I can first.”

The truck that he was on, carrying all the bamboo and metal sheets, met with an accident due to some landslides. He was on the back of the truck and bamboo crushed him. He is a relief aid volunteer.
